This is the year Chestnut goes down. Dude has gotten complacent.

George Shea is the star of that show. Love his antics every year.

Let's go, MEGA TOAD!

As fast as these people scarf down those hot dogs, it's amazing that none of them seem to suffer trachea contusions or some other injury during the contest.

I don't think Kobayashi has competed since 2009. Major League Eating fricked him. Still Matt "The Mega Toad" Stonie figures to be tough competition for Joey Chestnut. I'm rooting for The Mega Toad.

Chestnut won't give up the throne. He'll continue to be the tyrant lizard king of Coney Island.

Crap, I don't even remember last year's contest. I thought the Mega Toad was the defending champ this year. Remember 2015 but completely blank on 2016.

Chestnut dominated last year. Mega toad wasn't even really close.

What exactly happened with kobayashi and major league eating? I always wondered why he doesn't compete anymore.

Chestnut would destroy Kobayashi anyway. Kobi was good but Chestnut has taken this to another level. World record of 70 HDB proves he is the GOAT.

Why is it that even when it comes to eating that men are better than women?
