Just FYI. Not even trying to troll Bammers, but that was one of the best championship games ever

That bama defense might be the best defense I've ever seen. They just wore down in the second half.

Jalen Hurts gives an uninspired performance in a playoff game.

Water is wet

In 5 career playoff starts he was 54-108, 546 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 int. Despite having Calvin Ridley, OJ Howard, Jerry Jeudy, Devonta Smith, Ardarius Stewart, CeeDee Lamb, Henry Ruggs, and Irv Smith. All guys that have or will be drafted in the first 3 rounds

I think it's rated as the best team to not win a championship by several formulas

Yes Hurts was very limited. That's why I think 2018 was Saban's best team; Tua was just not the same after getting hurt against us

The natty from the 2018 season when Clemson prison raped Alabama was also on TV today.

I still think 2011 was the best based on what offenses were doing during that time span.

i think the best one i've seen was 1992.

granted CFB was waaayyy different then.

for example QB play is so much more essential now. Jay Barker had an awful game against Miami in the Title that year but it didn't matter cause Alabama just ran the shite out of the ball, played elite defense, and had mostly solid special teams play (David Palmer) return man, and kicker Michael Proctor.

Torretta for Miami got humiliated that night against Alabama defense.

They were savage.

Deshaun should’ve gotten a Medal of Honor for his performance in that game. Bama pulled out the Saints playbook and was trying to absolutely beat him into the ground. Dude was a warrior.

Alabama would have rolled Clemson if Bo Scarborough didn't break his leg. They had no answer for him.

1992 Penn State vs Notre Dame is on NBC sports network. Collinsworth is on color. Bettis, Mirer, Oj McDuffie, Kerry Collins, Sandusky, Starter Jackets, huge pads.

This excuse has always been so pathetic.

The defense made adjustments, that’s all. It’s not like Alabama hasn’t stacked 5* RBs for ages.

As crazy as it seems, I actually think the better team lost in each of these first two games.

If you had me rate the four teams, I’d have them:

1. 2017 Bama - Lost
2. 2016 Clemson - Lost
3. 2017 Clemson - Won
4. 2016 Bama - Won

Crazy the way things play out in sports.

Alabama wins if freshman Jalen converts just one more first down. That defense just got left out to dry.
