Yes, yes it does. We've been perfecting losing the lottery since then.

Hitch is not holding back. they didn’t even play that poorly IMO. 5 out of the 6 penalties or however many it was that we took were absolutely stupid and completely avoidable. idk if demonstratively stating “we’re going to make to some changes” before the reporter even finishes his question is the best look

5/7 in the penalty kill I believe.

Wasn’t able to to watch, but seems like Lehtonen did well considering what they gave him to work with. Can’t fault a goalie when you don’t score at all.

I watched the whole game but was sort of multitasking but he looked fine to me. just another central game where we put more pucks on net and lose

Great game going on in NJ.

Poor Detroit, have absolutely zero rivals, no hated teams by fans, nothing. Gave it all up to play in EST.

Yes, that was one of the drawbacks they made when they went to the Eastern Conference. On the other hand, I doubt they miss all the games they played in 2-3 time zones away. 10-15 years ago, it seems like they were always having playoff games with Canucks, Flames, Kings, Ducks, Avalanche, and Oilers. Imagine being a Red Wings fan and a bunch of playoff games not starting until 10:30. And they hope they don’t go to OT. It’s not that bad for us here in Central Time Zone.

A lot of interesting information from the board of governors meeting.

1) If Seattle gets an expansion team, which is likely, they will have to pay a $650M entry fee. A whopping 30% hike from what Foley paid for Vegas (I still hate that the team isn’t called Las Vegas) just 3 years ago. The league is aiming for 2020-2021 to begin play.

2) Good new Hurricanes fans. Karmanos has found a Dallas billionaire to buy the team and keep them in Raleigh.

3) It doesn’t sound like Quebec City or Houston are getting a team anytime soon. Bettman stated the imbalance of teams in each conference, which is why Quebec City is the least likely to get an expansion team.

4) Bettman is hellbent on keeping the Coyotes in Phoenix. Says city and team are working to get a new arena built.

5) Bad news in Calgary. Flames have broken off negotiations to replace the Saddledome. I really don’t want them to leave. Come on Calgary. Figure out a way to make it happen. Fans are too good there to abandon them.

6) No one knows what in the world is going to happen with the Islanders. Another team I would really hate to see leave.

7) Senators likely to ask for a new arena soon. Isn’t their current one only like 2 decades old? What is so bad about it?

8) Salary cap should increase to $78-$82M. Bettman says league has never been healthier.

So...why can old Key Arena be renovated for a new NHL team, but other newer arenas have to be replaced?

Sergachev scores a beauty. Was holding off Ehlers, spins and wrists one by Hellebuyck.
