Really odd start time for a Vegas home game. Their games usually start at 9:00 or 9:30.

Today is Nevada Day, a state holiday. Plus, they go on a 6 game road trip after today, so they did a matinee start time.

The Coyotes suck so much, and yet my addiction to hockey is so strong... I'm watching the Stars play Calgary so I can root against them. Hopefully a shutout for Mike Smith and a gwg for Mike Stone.

Among many many many many juvenile mistakes by established professional players, the biggest problem is goaltending. Louis Domingue I like as a person, but is not an NHL goalie. Raanta came in out of shape and then proceeded to get hurt twice with muscular injuries. Hill is not ready and should be in AHL.
Meanwhile Vegas's 3rd string (4th if you count Kuemper) is 3-0 with a shutout.
There's a reason we signed a college free agent and traded for another prospect. Our goalies are shite.
