It's pretty bad. Maybe not 3 games, but he lines up the hit, makes no effort to play the puck, jumps up into the hit, and looks like the head is the primary point of contact.
I'm all for knocking NY Rangers unconscious, but that hit was aggressively illegal. Though I do like that at the end of the clip, you can see Nash committing an egregious two-handed slash.

Eh I'm ok with it. He explodes upward into his head/neck area. No reason to do that, a normal hip check would've knocked him on his arse just the same.

Yeah, I don’t have a problem with him getting a game, but he’s far from a headhunter in the league. I really thought he’d get penalized on the spot, but the official let it go (of course play was stopped right after by a fight anyway) . That was a pretty violent game all-around.
