Is the east conceding to the cavs?

Everyone but the Bulls.
Hopefully the Wizards get desperate and try to trade for Jeff Green

The Cavs would win the East with LeBron, Thompson, and 3 Dellas

$35m is actually how high above the tax they are as of now. Not sure how much Gilbert pays on top of that in penalties.
So if they are $35 million over the tax, they'd have to pay an extra $35 million.

I think so. The real killer is when they start getting hit with the repeater tax. Ended the Heat's run.

No its more than dollar for dollar. 1.25 or 1.5, can't remember off hand.

I'm looking at cbafaq, and it says $1 for every $1.
If you go over the next season, then you pay incremental amounts based on the different tax brackets. $1.50, $1.75, $2.50, $3.25, and $3.75 and it increases $0.50 every $5 million after that.
If you go over the tax for the 3rd or 4th season, you have to pay a "repeater rate". It basically adds $1 to the incremental amounts. So $2.50, $2.75, $3.50, $4.25, and $4.75 and increasing $0.50 every $5 million after that.

If their Salary is around 125 mill and the cap balloons to around 110 next season wouldnt the tax threshold be around 120??
They can drop Verajo and be under the threshold I believe
Gilbert is gonna pay 80+ mill this year in luxury tax easy.
LeBron coming back brought over 400+ million worth of economy to the cleveland area I believe.
Gilbert aint going cheap this time. It's championship or bust for them the next few years.

I swear I hear this every year, concerning the East and Lebron. "Bulls got a good shot this year!".
They've never really been that close to knocking off Lebron. Both pretty much return the same teams, and last year the Bulls lost a game 6 at home by 30+ to a Cavs team without Kyrie/Love/Varajeo.

First off, calm down.
Secondly, the point I was making is that so far that all of the other EC contenders have lost some major pieces.

They pretty much ARE the whitewalkers:
Immortal
Sign players some think are corpses(Diaw and the like) and turn them into spursian wights.

Look at the chart on cbafaq
says 0-5 mill is 1.50 and it's under the "non-repeater" column.
I honestly haven't read any of the facts just looking at the chart
It looks like after 2011-2012 it jumped up to 1.50 and stays that way for 3 years then they get the repeater fine

Sources: Suns have legitimately closed the gap in pursuit of LaMarcus Aldridge. Tyson Chandler, perimeter talent. They're a real factor.
