o if Dwight is playing with LeBron, he should be the #1 option? No.
Well no shite. Like always, people putting words in others mouths

So is Harden a piece #2 then?
Posted on 4/20/14 at 10:33 pm to SwaggerCopter
At this stage of his career with all the "tools" Dwight has, he should be much more of a dominant player than he is currently. He's not. He's actually regressed somewhat since his Orlando days.
The fact that James Harden is thought of as Houston's team, instead of 7'1" Dwight Howard's, I think, proves me point.

Do you really think that Howard is taller than 7 feet? Look at him next to Aldridge.

t, but i still think hes #2 on this team
On some nights, yes. But I think Chandler Parsons has a bigger impact on a lot of nights than Dwight.

Howard is not 7'1. Closer to 6'10

Not worth arguing. People hate Dwight. It is what it is.
I don't hate Dwight. This is just my opinion. You're welcome to disagree Mr. Rocket. I ain't mad.

With the addition of Dwight, the Rockets went from an 8-seed to a 4-seed. He clearly has made quite the impact.

He's not really any taller than 6'9" small forward Chandler Parsons:

Thats not entirely due to the addition of Howard. Harden got even better. Parsons did too. T Jones emerged as a legit NBA player. Beverly as well.
And Asik is still there. For the $$$ spent on Howard, could have just kept Asik, who is cheaper, and went out and got someone else at the PF or PG spot. Or another SF and just let Harden play the PG and Parsons the 2 guard.
Without Dwight, they would still be around the 5 / 6 seed.

Portland needs another scorer so bad
Posted on 4/20/14 at 10:48 pm to iliveinabox
Lillard, Matthews, Aldridge, and Batum are pretty good scorers. They need defense more than another scorer.

Strong start to the fourth.

Nah. We need to get a bench and high level defender.
Posted on 4/20/14 at 10:49 pm to iliveinabox
yea they've gotta get something off of the bench or this will be a quick series.

Lemme ask you this. If Dwight would have gone down this year for 50 games and Asik was in there, how would the Rockets be any different?
