then Wood 's miss on 18 would have been what sealed it

Had that match mattered, Tiger isn't missing that putt. That match should have been conceded once it was done. Tiger could give a crap at that point

No way Phil gets more blame than Tiger. Phil didn't choke. Rose just went off....simple as that.

I don't blame Phil for the match, I blame him for telling DL3 not to put him out on Sat afternoon. He should have let DL3 make that call. There was no way he would have put Phil out there after he said he didn't want to. Phil barely played 9 holes, he could have gone back out

Didn't DL3 tell his players no one was playing 5 matches? If that's correct, and I think it is, Phil wasn't playing Saturday afternoon anyway.

He said that, but he said his assistants convinced him that he might want to revisit that theory, so he went to Phil in the 10th tee to see if he wanted to play and Phil said NO

Was anyone else like me as they watched Furyk spend 5 minutes lining up his putt? I was about to Punch my TV. You'd think a tour pro would know that there's such a thing as overthinking a putt.

Thanks. I wasn't aware that the assistants had talked to DL3. I was aware that he talked to Phil on the 10th tee and Phil said no way. He should have talked to Bradley. He would have said hell yes.

DL3 is one of the greatest choke artists in golf history from his playing days. And he choked on Sunday as well. They should have had Scott Hoch as coach.

20 tour wins, a major, and 38 million in earnings. Yea, he's a real choke artist.

I bet Sergio, Westwood, Donald, Stricker, and Monty would tell you how hard it is to win 1 major much less 20 tournaments on any tour

They didn't miss a 3 footer to win the PGA, and they didn't captain the Ryder Cup team that just had one of the greatest meltdowns in the history of golf. But you guys are right, DL 3 is soooo clutch.

Did you even watch what happened yesterday? The putt Stricker had wasn't going to be holed. Who cares how much he missed it by...he made the comebacker for par to actually save the match momentarily until Kaymer made the 6-7 footer for the win.

I watched the whole cup. who says the putt wasn't going to be holed? YOU? I would have been thinking the same thing until Rose made it on 17. Stricker wasn't even close!!!!!!!

The blame for this 2012 cup will be forgotten over time.

Tiger Woods was the reason the US lost the 1997 Ryder Cup and all of you and and him have forgotten.
