I just don't know why Love put Stricker at the very end with the idea that he was a clutch player. When has Stricker ever done something clutch in a big tournament? He should have switched Stricker with either Bradley or Mickelson.

He didn't think it would get to that point.

Europe cares more about this and will always play more as a team and equally as underdogs. In two years we ought to send the LSU golf team with Bradley as our captain.

Poulter's and Rose's putting won it.

Furyk might be the most anti-clutch player in U.S. history. I don't think anyone was surprised when he gagged and missed both those putts. Hell, it took him 5 minutes to putt each one. He was afraid to pull the trigger!!

So....2014...what do you guys think? I didn't do the math but we have some good young players out there and I for one would like to see the captain's picks spent almost entirely on rookies. we need more passionate players like Bradley on our team to match the Euro's enthusiasm.

It's not even 4 hours since the 2012 matches have concluded. No offense, but it's way too early to think about 2014.

Passion had nothing to do with it. We had two veterans gag down the stretch. If either Stricker or Furyk make one of those 3 putts, then we win. It's that simple.

Man, wish I knew more about golf since Europe and the UK in particularly are so fricking good at it (I'm from London originally). Why didn't we have this shite in the olympics for some extra medals?

This era of US players just need to face it...Europe owns them. 2014 needs to start the new era. More Bubba, Keegan, Fowler, and Mahan. Less Furyk, Stricker, Tiger, and Phil.

It's two years away, but I'm not ready to count Tiger out.

But even if Tiger gets back to winning some tournaments, the Ryder Cup just isn't his thing.

You realize 4 years ago he made the putt to win the cup?
