Nobody wants to deal with Scott Boras who I'm sure was looking for 15-20% increase over the previous years slot wherever Appel landed. To see him drop out of top 5 is a shocker though. Many thought he was way more polished that Gausman from what I've read.

I guess it was one thing when he wanted money for his guys and you would eventually just pay them....but now it could screw up the budget so it's looked at differently?
