Darren Sproles is what popped into my mind too. He may not be as explosive as Sproles, but I see the comparison. Spears looks like he has good vision and definitely is shifty, it’s fun to watch him play.

Also think Dalvin Cook is a fair comparison.

The worst call in history would be cool here but the knee was down

Anyone who has followed Tulane over the years knows that’s very rare for us to make a kick like that

Huge FG there.

Cincy was stupid not to use a TO before the FG. Could have easily had 30+ additional seconds.

I didn’t understand that either. Letting the clock run down only benefits Tulane in that situation

I think the thinking is young inexperienced QB that’s only completing 50% of passes. But even if he just does some designed qb runs there’s always a chance to at least put some points up. I’m surprised he didn’t even attempt it.

It’s amazing with all the staff on hand, there isn’t a “clock manager”.
LSU would have won an extra game a year during Les miles era.

who gets the ball starting 2nd half?

Tulane has to score/stop cinccy with 1st drive, they are giving this shiity bearcat backup qb confidence.

Watts and Wyatt aren't big moment Play Makers. The moment of being on ABC playing for a Championship is too big for them (same story with these two against UCF).

Put any other two Receivers in to see if they step up.

Watts usually has 1 drop then steps up. Wyatt needs four hours in front of the jugs machine while being handcuffed.
