I wonder what keeps Kelly from getting a real good job.

But, I like Jag, Muschamp, Dantonio and Harbaugh.

Haven't kept up with Mendenhall, Graham, or Dodge that closely.

Probably waiting.

Just like Greg Schiano and Penn St.

Agree (even though he's naive and thinks Cincy's close to OSU for top team in Ohio).

My arse.

He has a burning hatred for OU more than almost any other former player in University of Texas History. He'd sooner (no pun intended) get an A&M Tattoo on his forehead than take on a position at OU.

With a national title on his resume as LSU's defensive coordinator in 2003, if he can be the difference maker for a talented Longhorn team looking to break Oklahoma's two-season Big 12 title streak, he'll be off to be someone's head coach unless Texas can come up with a succession plan.
Don't need to if they already have one in place.

What about Bo? According to the Rant, he was the reason for LSU's success and is the hot ticket to turn around the Huskers.

It's just a rumor at this point (albeit a widely-confirmed one). Word has it that Mack has been so impressed with Muschamp in the 7 months since his hire that they have a handshake agreement about Will taking over when Mack steps down in a couple of years. Of course that's only if Will proves to be the truly awesome DC everyone is expecting him to be and, if early returns from Fall Practices are any indication, I'm not too worried about that part.

Schiano will be pissed. A lot of Universities talked about him, but he turned them down.

That may happen. I just don't see many jobs coming open that'd he'd make the jump for.

I said a while back that if I was Tennessee's athletic director, I'd keep an eye on Muschamp but who knows how long Fulmer will be at UT-Knoxville.

A handshake between who? Him and Mack? Does Dodds know about this? Who says Mack will be able to name his successor?

The talk is that Mack will have Dodd's job when he steps down.

Schiano wants to leave RU desperately. Can you blame the man? However, I like golden as a coach more imo.

Hell no.

Last offseason it certainly seemed he turned down some good schools expecting to get the Penn St. job.

Winner

Dodds, like Mack, isn't too much longer for his position either.

Mack would have to take a major salary reduction to be athletic director.

But, I think Muschamp will get a job before Mack steps down. Just a hunch.
