Wasn't talking about media. And let's drop this as to not turn the thread into a football shite show.

UVA got fricked by facing MSU in the 2nd round.

Any team was gonna get a bad match-up vs Michigan State in the 3rd round this year. They underachieved in conference play but per usual, Izzo built them for a tournament run and had them peaking late.

This is an especially bad match-up for UVA though. Michigan State does everything UVA does but better. And they can actually create points from offensive sets unlike UVA.

The Big 10 overall is looking a lot stronger than I expected them too

MSU had looked like shite at points of the year, but it was to huge to win the last 2 regular season games (Izzo melted hard vs IU ) and then play better in the B10 tourney.

Trice has been fantastic today, even in passing the ball. Huge 3 for Forbes there

eta: Valentine with 3 fouls

Posts this after he posts this:

We do enjoy good defense. I'm sure tons of people do.

But the reaction from SEC fans about that game was just pushing back against the rest of the country and their "holy shite frick the SEC that's the most boring football style I've ever seen" shite.

Yeah, we like defense. But that game wasn't a typical game....defensive talent wise or score-wise. People around the country flipped their shite like 9-6 was what we inbreds love down here.

The rest of the country started it. But like always, the big bad boring stupid overrated SEC got shite from everyone else. Whatever.

You're a hack.

Back to the topic at hand, Michigan State is a final four team especially since Nova choked as they always do.

Yeah, that memo has been circulating for about 15 years since Mateen Cleaves was there

They do everything virginia does but better and they are only 8 games worse in a weaker conference.

It was just ridiculous hyperbole

Except that it's true. Michigan State has been the much better team and that's pretty clear.

Imagine what Virginia could do if it played the first 6 minutes of each half.

Dawson is the difference. He can create. And he's a physical freak. I didn't know he is only 6'5ish. He really does play like a 6'9 guy.

Once again I doubt MSU in the tournament. I am an idiot.
