In a cab now, on my way home, so I won't be able to watch the RSA match with my scrumhalf and 8 man at the pub. However, I will have the opportunity to have the missus yell at me when I wake up.
I should change my name to Andy Capp...

Ireland 15 - 6 Australia
WOW! First real upset of the tournament. Amazing match. Very evenly matched sides, with Australia's scrum problems leading to Ireland's win. Every Irish scrum led to a collapsed first row. If Sexton's kicking had been decent Ireland might have won by more. No tries, just kicks.

Great game. Ireland played their asses off. Don't feel as bad about the USA scrums vs Ireland cause Australia couldn't take the pressure at all tonight.

I'm getting my hands on the Argentina games, I think i'm becoming a fan!
I'm also d-loading the Ireland Aussy game, that seems to be a bit of an upset.
i havnt looked at the bracket yet, but when does England and Argy play? That's going to be good!!

Argentina and England played already. England won but it was a pretty sloppy game with a ton of missed kicks.

Ireland's pack is good enough that they might make the Final.

Toss-up.

Aussies should win.

Shapes up as a classic All Black choke. And more Argentina is never a bad thing.

Wales 17 - 10 Samoa
Evenly matched game broken open thanks to some poor Samoan tackling on the sideline. I hate Welsh rugby.

I'm overly ticked right now that NBC owns the rugby rights in America (at least that is my understanding). Just broadcast most, if not all, of the damn games here. Please for the love of God, I just want to watch good international rugby in America without having to pay for or stream it.
Hell if you delayed broadcast on some of the good games (Ireland vs. Aussie for example) during the week, you would avoid NFL and CF games and probably score some pretty good ratings. Any ideas on why NBC is a) hoarding the rights and b) won't broadcast more than the opening match, the four USA matches and the semi-final/final match?
