161 td's and 145 picks?
345 td's and 160 picks?

Does not compute

There are a lot of qbs benefitting from the rules favoring offense in the past 10 years...its like Sosa's 60 Home run seasons

This year for rory...

Which was worse for him, clubs or the cash? I don't see better clubs making people's swing bad often.

Had to be the cash.

Riiiight, 5 more games, 13,000 more yards. More than double the TD's with no HOF receivers or tight ends. Just accept that a mannequin could have played qb for Dallas and done all right

To be fair Johnny doesn't really have much bidness criticizing those guys either

He's won multiple major championships and 20+ PGA Tour events. At least he knows what it's like to be in their shoes in the US Open.

Miller was the best ever IMHO. Of course he didn't do it over a career but what he did when he did it- nobody was better. Nobody. That is why he comes off the way he does - because he knows when he played well it was the best golf in the history of the game. Period.

A few weeks ago when those top ten lists were going around i overheard a well know player and former major champion over lunch say this (and I am paraphrasing):

quote:

I saw Nelson at 60, Snead at 70 but never got the chance to see Hogan.

I saw everyone else on any of these modern lists hit balls live.

Johnny Miller is the best I ever saw.

I always believed that and that was confirmation

He was the most athletic, but his flame burned too bright.

I'm only 34, so I only remember the very end of Miller's career. However, if you're going to use this argument, you're going to have to give me a ton of evidence to convince me that Miller's best would've beaten Tiger at Pebble in 2000. That was the best golf ever played, IMO (at least in modern times...I can't comment on anything prior to WWII). That doesn't mean Tiger is the GOAT, just like Miller's 63 doesn't make him the GOAT.
