Nothing there that changes what he said. Price can go up even if it's a pet rock.

This is factual

The person you responded to mentioned BTC, not crypto. Not the same thing. Crypto is a joke. BTC is not

What are the chances that the first blockchain token is the best/greatest?

Low, but you'd think after 15 years we'd have one better

Can you post the actual quote?

He didn’t endorse it but definitely crawfished:

Good counterpoint. If I had to guess, the sheer number of absolute shite out there muddies the waters so much that legitimate alternatives never really stand a chance.

Being first is the same as being the best in a lot of situations.

FOMO at it best. That’s a huge driver of crypto. We invested with large crypto companies at it peak in 2021. They warned us that it will crash, and have a run during the next election cycle. The predictions were true. It’s been a rough ride, but we told ourselves it would be a 10 year investment.

More buying than selling. This is the only reason this stuff ever goes up in price.

Uh. No. He didn’t endorse and he didn’t even crawfish.

He said Blockchain is real and he’s right. It IS real and has real value. Blockchain is not what is being used as currency. Bitcoin (and others) is what is being used as currency and Blockchain technology supports Bitcoin and other crypto currencies.

Dimon went on to say that if these crypto currencies really catch on and start to challenge government currency in a measurable way, they will be squashed by respective governments. And he’s right.

Until that time though, people will trade crypto’s in hopes of making money on the trade and some will use crypto for currency for legit or illigit reasons.
