this is all because class can only be coupled with the term 'social' and not 'financial'.

:blah: :blah: :blah:

thank you professor.

karma, I think you would have been better off using the term "salary" as opposed to "income"...a person sitting on a fortune of $10 million that doens't have a job...doesn't have a salary...his salary would be zero, and would place him at the bottom of Powerman's worthless chart...but his income could be very high from investment returns.

But the original question was about salary, so this dude would be lower class according to these clowns.

nope chicky. In the scenario i provided. The person did not make any investments. He literally had no income whatsoever. he sat and lived off the money he made.

Right

Or if we wanted to be really realistic we could use karma's brilliant example of where someone found 20 million dollars on the ground and didn't invest it, in fact didn't even put it in a bank. Because shite like that happens all the time. What a useful hypothetical for us to discuss

So he didn't invest the money at all? In that case, he had no salary and no income and was clearly in the lowest economic class.

In other words you created a scenario that is so fricking unlikely, there is no purpose for it to be in the discussion

You are such an idiot. You wouldn't last for a second an any type of debate class.

or he could have said:

rmcc, you're not an intelligent person, the term "financial class" doesnt make sense and saved himself a lot of time.

im fairly confident he likes to go on and on about shite in an attempt to impress people with his vast knowledge of anything and everything..

i'd kick him in the nuts for wasting my time.

Oh so it's my fault that he used the wrong term, and spawned this whole debate?

He said words that had a meaning.

Myself and chicken and Tigerb8 all read the words he actually wrote and tried to answer the question.

So its our fault that the original poster used incorrect language and we should have been able to just "divine" what he meant through ESP.

Oh btw.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upperclass is being rich, personally, when you are born. Upperclass is trust funds that your parents can't even touch. Upperclass is going to Choate or The Hill School for at least some part of high school.

If you make $700k/yr, you are still middle class, albeit very upper middle class.

Rich is something you don't work for. You can work, you can even make more money, but upperclass is all about what you are born into.

Apparently it wasn't so clear. And RMCC even thought it was interesting when a post that followed Me and Chicky's logic was posted.

I am still waiting for Powerman to answer the original question posed. If we are clearly wrong, and you can define class based solely on salary, than he must know the answer.

I have the Jeopardy song on Repeat mode...man, it is getting freaking annoying...I wish he would just grow a pair an answer the question as best he could.

No. i actually thought that you were asking an interesting question.

And you didn't do anything to discuss this type of reasoning with your response to TigerB8's question.

No. i like to argue with idiots like Powerman, "who would take his brain over both mine and Chickens"

You waste your own time. Nobody made you continue reading/posting in this thread once this debate began.

Of course

And people would take your scenarios of people finding 20 million dollars on the ground seriously in a debate class

I guess I should just watch you and learn

except mine is relevant. And yours is not.

We're debating right now. Not playing a videogame.

hmmmm....

And btw, I just called you out in my last post. You did nothing to discourage me and Chicky's reasoning. So
