Yeah, it seems like people are frustrated with MSTR announcing every single purchase they do instead of doing something similar to an earnings call. I guess there's too much transparency? Keeps the volatility level all month.

I'm currently sitting at about one third MARO, one third MSTY, and one third ULTY.

MARO taking a beating right now.

$1.18 distribution announced. If MSTY closes above $19.62 Friday I break even again.

I have a mixed psychological battle with MSTY. Market, I'm down 18.44%. Total return, I'm up 8.14%.

It pains me to see my MSTY account down by over $8,000. $24.13 average.

I have holdings in Group A,B,C,D along with UTLY. I have pulled my initial investment out for 2 reasons:

1- to protect myself. I use stops on the gains.
2- To have more capital to buy other stocks to sell calls on.

I also do not drip back into them(except for ULTY). I do 1 of 2 things:

1- Roll the dividend out to the next group. An example- Group A, I make $1200. I will look at Group B to see if there is something down. Or I wait until Wed to see what is going to pay the best.

2- Look over all groups to see what is down due to market. Then purchase with that.

So long as you take your investment out and work with gains only with stop loss in place, I think we will all be great.

I had a chance to bail on MSTY with around $7K gains. I rolled it all into SMCY because they had better dividends and were similar in cost. SMCI has ER on Tuesday and it should sky. It rode the market down today, dragging me with it.
I was in for 3863 at $19.70 but did a quick scalp and am holding 3964 now. The drip will increase that number.

I am in on 5024 ULTY for $6.22. I am going to try and just enjoy the $500/wk. from that and not get antsy, or too creative. Dripping this one too.

Look, those others are great. They have decent NAV and they still yield in the 30% range last I checked. That's insane.

It’s insane for a reason

It blows my mind how many people (not necessarily here) seem to be under some impression that these things will maintain some kind of stable NAV and yield 30% in perpetuity.

i am not dripping any of this. i am pulling all profits. i have stops set and am prepared for the worst. unfortunately with returns like this nothing is safe and secure. you have to basically trade this crap. That is what i do.

I'm down 10% after basically being even to start the week.

Thought about moving some more money over to load up on ULTY but decided against it.

I tapped out. Took a 1.50/share loss on CONY and $1/share on MSTY. I’ll let the young bucks toy with that nonsense.

MSTY and CONY are solid funds, I bet they recover before the month is out.
