'Nothing extraordinary has occurred at Berkshire; a very long runway, simple and generally sound decisions, the American tailwind and compounding effects produced my current wealth,' he said.

Very modest. But all of that has happened in many other businesses that have nowhere that level of return. Part of how incredible his run has been is how well he’s scaled up over time, which essentially requires changing strategies repeatedly and doing each at a successful enough level to continue propelling forward

He's made wealth because he had wealth. Not knocking him. But he's no genius. Him avoiding Apple for years is a prime example.

BRK.A is up 49,000% since 1984. That’s not a typo.
And he isn’t a genius but he has a good sense of where money is going to flow and he goes in heavy when he’s convicted
Has he made some mistakes? Of course. But his wins far outweigh his mistakes

He has said this.
The reason he did not invest is because he did not understand that industry.
He made a lot in insurance and turnarounds. He understood insurance and media companies.
He learned about Apple late, but still made billions on his investment.

Warren Buffet is a piece of shite and destroyed a lot of good products.

Most people who own Apple shares have no clue about Apple’s financial fundamentals. Owning Apple is no indicator of genius.
Perhaps becoming a multi-billionaire WITHOUT Apple (and Microsoft) might say more about one’s genius than WITH.

It's a good day when you can shut down the pipelines and buy up all the rail delivery...
Buffet was a ruthless businessman masquerading as some midwestern homeboy.
Nothing has changed in the world... you can get really rich if you're willing to be a real arse.

BRK.A is up 49,000% since 1984.
I bought US rare coins with it.
They have appreciated around 500% since then.
