It's up to 178.99 after hours. Dumb question, but if I put an order in for it now is there a way for me to know the price I'll get it at?

Does that mean it will likely open around the $183 mark?

Im gonna bet you don't get that limit filled....do you realize how many companies missed earnings recently and share prices rose or barely fell? It was a good buy at $194 yesterday, $183 today is a steal.

a 10% drop in a company like this was literally a bunch of computer bots triggering sell orders and nothing more thats why it fell to $170 and bounced right back to $180. Remember the flash crash a few months ago when someone tweeted the words bomb and white house together? The computers run the market, its scary having stop losses in place

Yeah I believe u...I put that order in after market close yesterday...prior to all the after market stuff...I'm about to change it now. Good looking out

On a side note, can someone explain the whole concept of after hours? I get that it means once the market closes but why does the after hours share price keep changing (to the right of the actual share price if researching a ticker on yahoo). Is it moving based on orders that have been put in after the market has closed but yet to settle or does options have something to do with it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep. You would have got it, and it's popping back up from that number. I wouldn't feel worried though. I'm in at $191 and could care less. It's a long term stock that I missed getting for a little cheaper. Ho Hum.

ETA: And it's falling again. Shocked.

Maybe this needs a Rant style "In game thread."

I just can't wrap my head around why it's falling over this judgement, it's really nothing at all in the scope of the things when you consider by how much they beat earnings last week

If the fees are 25% of their income and a court as well as other politicians have suggested they are charging twice what is somehow deemed appropriate, isn't that quite a big issue?

I'm really not sure.

you really don't think they are going to appeal? The United States is a gigantic market of course, but with 80% of the world not using credit cards we aren't exactly the driver of growth, we're actually a pretty saturated market.

Got in at 177

Why do I always go against my brain... I was thining, "Boy, I should prob put an order at 175" but then I talked myself out of it and said, "Hell, but I don't want to miss out at 177"

Subsequently, it falls to 175

Oh well, Im not a MTB baller, so I'm only out $14 thus far
