My thoughts are to pick the stable companies and let their boring earnings steadily grow. The sexy and exciting companies are where you get burned.

Same advice for college kids trying to pick up girls at the bar at midnight.

Picking the girl next door usually works out better than holding out for the most popular girl… the influencer with the bolt-ons.
