Thought on dumping everything into FSKAX?

Wife and I are late 20s and both of our 401k’s through work are with Fidelity. From what I understand FSKAX is the equivalent to Vanguard’s VTSAX. I just opened up a brokerage account with Fidelity.

We will have about 25k a year to invest. And we do not plan on needing this money for at least 10 years. We have a fully funded emergency fund and no other debt outside of the house we just bought at 3.5% on a 30 year.

I have no desire to be actively trading. I just want something that is aggressive that will mirror the S&P that I can dump a couple grand a month into.

From reading this forum along with Bogleheads I’ve heard that Edward Jones and the like are a waste of money.

Is this a good plan for what I want to do?

I would prefer a S&P index like FXAIX.

I’m not familiar with index funds and use ETFs most often. VTI or SCHB accomplish broad market exposure.

Go with FZROX instead, same funds with zero expense ratio (slightly different Fidelity-generated index of same funds & same manager as FSKAX but Fidelity doesn’t have to pay a licensing fee to the index provider, reducing expenses). It’s where we keep our taxable investments in a joint account and get the same funds/exposure as VTSAX. We DCA in to FZROX $8,400 every 3 months on a set schedule.

Vanguard has our IRAs and taxable from before marriage but they don’t have a taxable joint account for some reason.

Wrong. Wife & I have a joint brokerage account at Vanguard - have had it for years (in addition to our IRA accounts).

Why would you need the money in your 30's or 40's?
