Nothing that isn't common knowledge from recent MMR press releases but if these deep gas reserves on the shelf that they have been after come in anywhere close to estimates, it will be huge.

A lot of industry people expect MMR to be a major player in the gas market very quickly.

I was just starting your list for you.

I appreciate that. I've owned stock in two airlines, both times before I read Buffett's comments about them.

I learned the hard way he is right. It's the only industry I can think of that can operate at 90+% of capacity and still lose money consistently.

If I were to buy into an airline, it would be LUV, if that helps anyone's feelings a little bit.

They must have something going for them if they can instill fear in their competitors like they can. Other airlines will do almost anything to keep Southwest out of their hubs and markets.

Don't forget about how shitty restaurant stocks can be. Razor thin margins.

I'm just waiting for an IPO of poopsenders.com

That site is the shite...and they have an unlimited supply of inventory.

Agreed. I've never owned a restaurant stock.

ETA: I take that back. I did own MCD at one time. But they don't really count as a typical restaurant.

Also, the options I was looking at when I posted about the VIX the other day are up at least 100%. I didn't buy. FML

I thought you had bought them. I guess I didn't correctly pay attention to what you posted. When I saw the VIX go over 22 this morning, the first thing I thought of was you and that you had to be making a killing.

I decided not to because I wouldn't be able to babysit them with the bar and all.

But I think LSUtoOmaha owes me cash since I was right about them.

So you think right now is a good time to own cyclicals? I take the complete opposite position of yours at the moment.

I screwed myself by making stupid plays on a whim. Fortunately I learned a huge lesson and I'm still in the black overall.

Now is the best time to learn them. It's much cheaper that way.

CAT has been punished over 15% the last week. Im diving in by Friday. The debt ceiling debate will make some excellent buying opportunities in the next few days.

just traded out of my LVS and went straight FAZ. I'm thinking a sell off tommorow, followed by the Messiah striking a deal over the weekend, then all green on Monday. Just my guess

Ballsy move. Market wanted some green today. I think we get a lot of it tomorrow. We've been red all week. Doubled down on some GGB calls today.

Bought XOM on the open today. My exposure to oil is off the charts right now.
