I got in late on Tesla after the stock split news because of their high option premiums and my strict desire to not FOMO into something but I realized the meme/hype strength of this stock is making this stock split a once in a leap year opportunity to just print money over the next couple weeks. So I got in at multiple out the money call positions and made some crazy returns. My most tame move was a day trade just this morning... flipped some $2600 calls that expire in a week for nearly 100% returns in less than a hour.

Don’t forgot to do a lick of DD before paying your tithing to lord musk.

SpaceX is Elon musk. They pay Tesla to use their engineers for projects and use parts developed for teslas. Youre fooling yourself if you dont think a portion of this buying, albeit maybe small, is because of that connection to SpaceX. Now rationally, does that make sense to add value to Tesla? That's a debate, but it's definitely a catalyst.

I dont know what to do with this stock anymore so I'm just staying out. I sold and bought a bunch of times earlier this year when it was bouncing up and down from 1000. Now it's just gotten so ridiculous, the downside is huge, and Elon is so unpredicatable. I'd rather gamble on an NVDA if I want to sit and hold.

Its P/E ratio is 1,000x which is unbelievable. Apple who has the largest market cap ever only trades at 30x for reference. The sad part is that I really want to own TSLA but even after the split they're going to be too expensive. The options are dumb expensive as well.
