Today has been my only red day in a week and a half and it was barely over 1 percent so I feel pretty good. I was sort of expecting some sort of red. I'll take it.

I sound like a broken record at this point, but man AMAT just keeps climbing. I was debating selling my calls yesterday, expecting a little bleed today, but I'm glad I didn't. Looking forward to earnings next week.

What are you using to break down growth by weeks, months, etc? Fidelity seems to do a bad job of this.

Do you enter a lot manually or do you scrape the price automatically then just set up formulas for say daily, weekly change? I only ask because I would like to set something like this up because fidelity only gives you monthly reports. And even then it’s kind of just broken down by your overall return. And I’m terrible at excel.

I just do it manually.
I keep track of daily return, weekly return, max drawdown, overall return and principal invested. It’s nothing that special just a daily tally of portfolio totals
TDA does a fine job on cost basis, individual position returns, etc. I just enter the daily total when the market closes and the formulas do the rest.

bunch of rumblings that they’ve secured refinancing on their debt. I don’t completely understand the instruments they are using, just what I’m finding on twitter from the fintwit nerds is that it’s happening.
with a short week next week and as you said options expiry on Friday, any news to that affect could mean action. It’s certainly worth the small gamble as there’s little chance it will take a dump
