JMIA
So glad I made this my 2nd biggest position a couple weeks ago on the dip. I'm getting hammered tonight in celebration!

Anyone here ever brought up MP? Rare Earth miner, basically the only one in the United States. They operate Mountain Pass in Nevada, one of the richest reserves in the world. Feel like it has great synergy with a biden admin so I've been buying for a month or so since my original buy at IPO. Pretty much everything renewable related will be using magnets and other rare earth materials. I'm not so certain of the storage type, lithium, or something else, so I feel like rare earths is the better bet.
IPO'd in June, I got in originally around $13, it did not alot for awhile, hovered between 10 and 15...then When Biden won election, it went parabolic, topping out at $40 in Mid dec. It then went back to about 28, and has been climbing from there.
If Biden wants the US to have domestic renewable dependency. Then I don't see how it's possible without MP; China currently has a stranglehold on rare earth.
(I have a few 100 shares at about $27 now, it's one of my main watches for this year, sits at 32.65 as I type this, little pullback today)

honestly, you could build a portfolio with just AMZN, SE, MELI, BABA & JMIA and probably retire rich having never made another trade

APPS went buck wild at the close too. What an insane week. My whole portfolio is up 36% and I didn't even take part in the GME/BB euphoria.

Best week ever for my portfolio. FSLY, TELL, BB, PLTR, TSNP, TDOC all came out huge for me. Rolling a lot of those gains into more STLHF. Thanks for all the tips here guys, I really think this forum is the best financial forum on the web!

Been too focused making money this week to worry too much about that, which was a nice distraction. But the tax man is coming at some point...

The only Chinese EV I would own presently is NIO. Tons of great things going on over there. Not buying or owning XPEV currently. Nio is my largest position at the moment and I am long on it. As you know I have been in DQ for a long time but SOL is my best producer, it was up over 15% today. I have been promoting this for a while, I hope some jumped on. I am now up 323% since Dec 18. I bought 3 of the ARK's yesterday, I don't own any ETF's but I thought I would try them out.

This has been a bull market since March and the best one I have ever been a part of. The market will take a 20-30% dump at some point. Is that going to be on Biden or Trump?
Posted on 1/22/21 at 3:30 pm to djrunner
depends on if biden can print as much brrr as trump did while in office...

Many people will want to assign blame because of tribalism. It's up to the investor to see beyond that and adjust if needed, or simply hold.
If there's one thing I've learned, it is that emotions will ruin an otherwise great portfolio.

Emotions and a really dumbass typo held me back this week, but I crushed outside of a few. Up 1200 on TLRY, ended up -800!in 45 seconds. 6 or so percent goes up fast with over 20k invested (that came from a margin account, which compounded the problem. Should have had a killer week
