quote:cathie wood on TDOC, at an investor conference today
Wood, the chief executive of ARK Invest, who oversees an investment portfolio of almost $US30bn, is predicting its customer base will rise to some 220 million over the next five years with its revenues rising to $US7.8bn by 2025 as a result of the rise in the telehealth market and the expansion of its services from health care providers to patient care.

Peloton went off after hours...hoping I can sell my position for 160+ this morning. Had it set to 150 before...so hopefully I am getting a bit lucky.

Cgrand, I have some cash to invest in my portfolio and I know you are fully invested right now. I have large positions in TDOC, AAPL and AMZN right now (for me). I would like to know where you would put cash to work if you had it available now. Looking to buy 2-3 stocks for long term and 1-2 to possibly swing trade. I have done really well buying many of the stocks you mention and really appreciate your insight. Thanks for the time and research you do and share on this forum.

NLS will probably be a good short term play since Peloton is popping right now...NLS should follow.

I can’t buy anything until March
when I can I will be buying ROKU, PINS, SQ, SE, ETSY, NET.
Do some research and see what you think
other places to look are commerce (JMIA, MELI), cannabis (GRWG, SMG), China (BABA), and EV (well covered here).
Stocks I wish I owned but don’t include CRWD, SHOP, PYPL, APPS, DKNG, and AMD.
lottery tickets include NVTA, GOGO, PLTR, PGNY
Stocks everyone should own (check your index/market funds) include AAPL, MSFT, AMZN, CRM, etc
ETFs I follow are the ARK funds
Can’t own them all...

as am I (130).
good lesson...I watched it run up and up and kept hesitating. At 130 I was sure I was in for a slog
now look at it
good companies with escalating revenues are good bets.
pay attention to earnings and trends, read the market news, go deep to find analyst reporting and buy what makes sense. We have tools today our fathers did not.

At the moment I am eyeing down REGN, REGI, PANW, COUP, CRWD, ANET, CRSP, and a semi-conductor company like TSM (which never seems to stop going up. ON semiconductos...I've read promising things.
I will have to get rid of a few of my current holdings, and the only viable ones are SE, PINS, and APHA. I'm stuck with APHA at the moment. Talk me out of it.

some recent buys that have exploded from the start are BAND, GRWG, SEDG.
I would like to get back in TWLO, but buying at a time like this is what burned me last time. I waited 2 months for it to come back. i then promptly sold, and the very next day it exploded and hasn't stopped.
