Yeah my guess is the PR was so expected a lot of that was priced in. That PM bump was big but got sold off so quick. I’m hoping we’ll see a nice run up next week into that meeting. I’m shooting to sell half off around .8 but we’ll see how fast/if it goes past that
Yea I'm out next week - hopefully we'll see some gains leading up to next week's presentation and I can bail - would love near .8!
Are you up and running on webull?

My first 1k deposit from Monday is supposed to settle tomorrow. I have another $500 that I deposited tues that’s isn’t supposed to settle til 5/26. From what I read I think they only give you up to 1k of buying power at a time so I guess that why they won’t let me use the $500 to play with yet. I’m hoping once my first 1k settles tomorrow it will unlock that 2nd deposit as “buying power.”
Which is pretty aggravating because whatever I deposited into Vanguard I could use immediately. But literally everything else about Webull is superior so I can’t complain too much. Plus once I get most everything moved over as I sell I’m hoping that doesn’t bite me too much anymore.
If it hits .8s I may sell off 3/4s. These pretty low dips aren’t giving me as much confidence as I’ve had.

Nice keep us posted on your webull thoughts. Yea it pops a little every now and then, but fizzles just as quickly. I know "patience", but I'm kind of over it

may i ask why you aren’t using a platform like TDA? my deposits are actionable within minutes of a transfer

Just haven’t tried it yet, not opposed to it. And i saw they have 4AM PM trading.
If it gets to be too much of a PITA than I’ll consider switching. Until I get more experienced it may be a good built in safeguard to keep me from getting too excited Plus I still have my Vanguard account I can use in a pinch if I want to get into something quick and baby there.

TD ameritrade is consistently ranked highest in features, research, ease of use and investment options. If you prefer an app their thinkorswim is top of the line. Equity trades are free and deposits are instant.
honestly I don’t understand why anyone uses anything else especially robinhood or similar. Why would you accept delayed deposits and limited trading availability? When the alternative is...free to use?

Yeah TOS is awesome, I have not tried Webull but I can’t imagine leaving TOS for any of the others.

I’ve been following along reading your trade ideas, you sound like you have good discipline and far better savvy than most. Take the training wheels off and ditch those penny stock trading platforms.
you can do everything you are doing now, but do it better, with a more sophisticated broker. Again I recommend TDA but there are others.

ROKU just got downgraded by a major analyst to equal weight and a price target of 105. I probably should just let this ride but it’s dragging me down
right now I’m down 12% on a position I really could use elsewhere. Others that have never steered me wrong continue to have it rated highly. Today will be a weird day with a three day close coming up so there is additional risk in holding
Anyone got thoughts?

I’m very torn. I hate to take a huge loss but at this point it may be for the best. Slowly driving me crazy.

Sold mine. Worst performer in my portfolio and I went against everything I typically do and held too long.

Thanks man appreciate it to be fair 99% of what I come across is because of what I feel like is a good following on Twitter. It’s really incredible the amount of free resources and help that is out there if you’re willing to find it. I’ve grabbed a couple discord invites too with a lot of the same dudes that’s been cool to follow their trading floor.
I will definitely look into it.
This morning my first deposit went through and it let me access the next $500 of the pending deposit.
Jumped into BIOC, RMED, and just set a limit order to get back into MARK.

I get it.
generally I buy/hold/add and if I’m going to stay the course what I should be doing is adding not selling. But I set a limit on total funds to add to this account and I’m there now. Every other position I have is one I want to keep.
