We were bought out and my Roth and 401k were given to us to rollover.

This is the only reason why.

I was younger and stupid and hit the lottery on a stock that drive my Roth to like 83k as an 32 year old. I proceeded to lose like 70k not knowing when to exit a stock that flamed out after a massive run up. I sold half at the peak and added on the way down expecting it to turn up as it was 90% there. That last 10% was a bitch and it was bought out and tanked.

Learned my lesson but so fricking painful

Thanks for the insight Judge. Not gonna lie i'm hurting on FSLY right now i own at @ 96 . I bought earlier @47 and sold like the rookie that i am. I'm trying to buy good stocks for the long term : Dis, Penn, PYPL etc.. but these smaller growth stocks make me nervous. Still learning to look away when it gets good and bad. I appreciate all the advice you and the other guys who have been doing this for a while give.

when a stock shows you it’s volatile and you take an entry at highs you need to practice good trading hygiene...have a stop in place.

FSLY is not ROKU or SE, steady up and to the right.
it’s a tiny company doing tiny company things that one day could change the entire internet

At this juncture if you are in this in the 90s just forget you own it, it’ll come back

the news got buried last week but FSLY basically secured 950MM in financing at 0% interest. This is huge

they had about 250MM cash on hand and now have 1B in buying power. Institutions were lined up at the door to buy the convertible notes. This will dilute the stock at some point but by then it might not matter

Stay tuned

Ophir's interview with the FSLY CEO on this was very encouraging.

Great to see more buy in from ownership.

Let the rebound begin.

I love a good 'downgrade' that still represents almost a 20% increase from today's closing price if the stock were to move to it.

Another day to buy. Anyone know what's up with the drop?

I bought a call yesterday. Sorry everybody.

But for real, I didn't see any news. But in this current market, stocks drop ~10% on good news, no news, bad news, doesn't matter.

Now you're getting it. Remember in the 2020 recovery, all bad news was bullish. No news and good news was even more bullish for gap ups.

Now it's inversed.

I panic sold yesterday. Sickened by the gains left on the table with this one and taking a fat L instead. Godspeed to you all. I may nibble my way back in if it's still down here after my wash sale date.
