So successful mining not only gives you the value of the Bitcoins you mine, it also gives you perpetual residuals every time those Bitcoins are transferred.

Even Ron Paul hates Bitcoin:
"Hates" is a harsh way of putting it.
Many other Austrian Economist viewed bitcoin the same way up until recently. Jeffrey Tucker espoused this view and now he is the biggest bitcoin enthusiast on the planet.
But, Ron Paul is absolutely wrong here, and its a shame that he continues to be unwilling to learn the technology.

Also, I believe the NYSE was hacked a few years ago so you can search and post that I think.
Yes, 2010. I was sitting on TD from my tent in Afghanistan watching that blood bath. For a time, I'd lost every dollar I'd made that entire year.
Recovered nicely and made 10k.

If the miners are paid a transaction fee on every Bitcoin transaction, which is what Wiki posted, then how would you describe the payments for each transaction? What do you call the transfer of wealth from the participants in a transaction to the person who "found" the medium of exchange for the transaction? It seems to me the miner is getting back a small piece of the Bitcoin he originally mined. And over time if the Bitcoin circulates enough the original miner will receive enough in transaction fees to regain ownership of the Bitcoin.
An alternative way of looking at the transaction fees are as subsidies to the miners from Bitcoin users. Or are these fees actually a tax imposed by the miners similar to the tax on financial transactions that the U.N. wants to institute?
Why are these functions of government that you object to acceptable when they are privatized. It's not like Bitcoin miners are a bunch of independent individuals with their PC grinding away at solving the mathematical equations necessary to mine Bitcoins. Instead they are sophisticated cartels using pooled resources and state of the art equipment to mine for Bitcoins.
You are willing to trade governments that are accountable to an electorate management of currency for anonymous managers who are completely unaccountable to anyone. To top it off, you question the wisdom of those who point these facts out to you.

There's no reason to explain the tech to Poodle.
I could explain the importance of the miners to you, but you'd probably take something I say out of context and ask me an irrelevant question like you've done multiple times in this thread.
