Smoke and mirrors. Maybe the 200 to 300 will actually go to school supplies and food instead of truck nuts and trims in april.

This was part of the stimulus package in March. They finally announced the logistics

I will take my 600 and pay half my daycare bill.

This will do absolutely nothing to incentivize the people who need to be populating the earth to do so. Those people don't make those types of decisions based on f'ing monthly government checks.

But this can't really do that. The kind of money being distributed will add to inflation and the debt crisis but not be enough to cover the costs of children. Economic growth through increases in productivity is where rising incomes and prosperity come from.

Plus I don't want to subsidize someone else's children. The whole point of parents doing this is so they learn about working and accomplishing goals. Without that exposure they never become citizens capable of improving themselves, let alone the country or the world.
