I sold OXY this morning at around $15.00. Took a loss, but made up for it on other stuff.

I think with the recent Icahn and Buffett news, along with the Anadarko update today regarding Africa, it may bump within the next week or two. It's also one I just have confidence in right now, and it runs around the 40 mark in normal society. It's a ways off from there, but it's a stock I'll throw in until there is another play. It's also dirt cheap right now lol.

As an individual sitting on an OXY/ Anadarko platform at this very moment and hearing what I am hearing, and knowing that we cant pay our bills on our platform right now, OXY is not anything I would want to be involved with. Just not a good vibe from the top down.
Legacy Kerr-McGee pensions getting cut has a LOT of folks jumping ship. I know of 3 OIMs and 4 Team leads that spooled it up just last week. All but one of the OIMs was from one platform. They wont be the last. Announcing tomorrow all of the back-fills and who will be moving where.
We got emails last week asking for voluntary resignations and how many months of pay we would require to resign. GoM and field personnel excluded but its obvious they are about trim the fat somewhere. *coughDENVERcough*

I'm sitting on a decent spot of Oxy at 12.50ish. I'm in it for at least a year or 2 but it will come back to 50+

Yeah I sold this morning at around $8.10 because it would've bothered me all day and I figured it'd come down a little from the weekend. I may get back in later but I felt better locking in my mild profits at this point.

Been giving a hard look at jumping in IVR. TD Ameritrade is about to cut me off though for round trips. I have to wait until tomorrow to change anything lol.

Sorrento's CEO is a crock of shite.
He's manipulated the stock multiple times over the past 8 months, and this has been just another example.
I never bought the company because I never liked the management.

No problem. Not saying you wont make a couple of bucks, but I know the vibe is not good here. Everyone is on edge. Dumped my OXY last week. If you get up .27, dump it and chalk it up as a win
