Oh my god WSB is going ballistic right now. The price just went up.

Discord might have been the final nail in the shorts' coffin.

We are on a mission from god, baws.

No underwriter is touching these stocks right now. They essentially buy the shares and turn around and sell them. No one is taking on that risk with this volatility.

That’s why the apes are banding together to stay strong. I don’t delve in the stock market, but I may start, after seeing this shite show, lol.

How ironic that a stock called “GameStop” stopped the Wall Street game on individual investors.

I'm saying that the autists are no longer satisfied with jacking Melvin and Co for a few bucks. After the dirty tactics that have been employed today, especially from discord, they aren't selling. They feel a moral obligation to hold.

shite we have people here, who are not nearly as retarded as WSB, saying they are buying a share tomorrow and holding no matter what because frick wall street.

We need to get a movement going on every message board that every single person needs to buy at least one share of GME. Tell your mom, your dad, your friends, your next door neighbor, the guy at the grocery checkout line.

It's no longer about the money. It's about being a part of history. This is a mass protest against the corrupt assholes on Wall Street.

But here's the thing, if those call contracts can't be exercised, they'll either be sold or expire worthless due to not having the capitol to be exercised by the holder. Let's be real... there are alot of retailers who won't be able to afford 100 shares of GME. The call writers (usually hedge funds) could theoretically buy back the call at a reduced price as the option holders scramble to sell on Friday. They could then be exercised by the hedge funds and liquidated Monday dropping the price down tremendously. This could be a way out for them. Am I missing something?

If someone can’t afford a full share of GME, tell them to buy fractional shares. Every. Bit. Counts. Ride to the moon!

Right, but the calls are for 100 shares... not 1 share. At today's price you're talking about 35k in equity or margin needed for each contract. Multiply that by the number or retailers with a fresh $1,000 robin hood account who picked up some 80 dollar calls today after their account was approved this morning.

You are underestimating how many puts are out there by hedge funds. If GME stays above $200 come Friday, this thing is going parabolic until they can fully cover, which will take awhile. If they decide to double down, more retailers will continue to flood the market as well as big institutions who smell the blood. The only thing that can put a lid on the upcoming explosion is the shorts covering, which things will still get ugly, or government intervention
