Yes, it could affect U.S. markets today, but probably not in the same magnitude.

It missed forecasts that was already priced in. Less growth and did not guide as high.
CXMT has exploded in the memory market, gobbling up market share at a rapid pace. Forward leaning people think CXMT is going to erode margins very quickly at the low end market which is very high volume

You’re not pricing in the Korean discount. Unions just received huge concessions, and the owners historically divert profits away from common shareholders. This current run has started blinding people to historic norms.
