Sounds to me like you agreed upon a salary for a particular job when you got hired. And you did that job. How much money you save the company is irrelevant. Getting a raise isn't even a guarantee. Be thankful they gave you 3%, because when you signed that offer letter, you agreed on the original base salary, not the 103% you're getting now.

They rewarded you 7% for signing with them. Surely you can understand that was a one time thing for, you know, signing with them. They got the employee they wanted and paid a nice little bonus to achieve, and you got the job, paycheck, and signing bonus you wanted.
After a year they rewarded you a 3% raise. Seems reasonable to me.

You need to work for some governmental social service agency where they will coddle you.
Life has no guarantees. My youngest son works for a tech startup in San Antonio. They get small monthly checks with some nice fat ones coming from time to time. If it gets going, he'll have it made. If not, he'll try another one.
