Great show, definitely very unrealistic but they get some entertaining people on there.

Daymond is my favorite.

It's important to realize the barriers involved.

I personally would not spend $50k to be partnered up with a person who has zero marketing connections beyond door-to-door sales, unless *I* had those connections.

The reason it is a steal for Daymond John is because he can utilize his clout in the apparel industry to make a ton of money off of this great product.

Who will buy this product and why?

Most of the pitches I see on shark tank (haven't seen this particular episode btw) consist of "this is how people do things, here is why it is inefficient, my product makes it easier/better/more efficient, and it fills such and such need to the consumer".

Is society having major problems with normal belts? What is the current problem with belts? Basically, why would someone go out of their way to try a hole-less belt, and what advantages does it offer over a regular one?

there are no holes to get messed up. You can adjust every quarter inch instead of every inch

You are never in between belt holes? Its annoying as frick, especially in dress applications where its either too tight or its loose and looks sloppy. People buy new belts all the time, its not like you have to pry people off of there current belts.

You know military belts don't have holes already, right?

That's what they look like.

Belt Link

Entire Show Link

First is the company's website, second is the entire show. Don't know what order the belt pitch was, so you will have to fast forward and find it.

His belt is much better than military ones, first off, they look a hell of a lot better, second, they ratchet instead of catch with the little bar in the buckle.

Love the show but think a lot of people go on for free advertisement. Few weeks back a guy from Jackson was on with his new line of Camo. Looked like some nice stuff. I knew before it aired that he wouldn't make a deal. Between he and his wife's family they OT rich and then some. He just wanted to get his product in front of a large audience.

To be fair though this is not a new belt design, I've had a belt like this for years, never wear it though because it looks tacky...
