Scam of the Century? Helium Crypto (HNT), "The Internet of Things"

Full disclosure: I bit. I still have 2 units in operation. Now back to our story...
Before I jumped in, I tracked Helium miners closely in Baton Rouge. At its peak (Spring 2021), there were approx 15 miners in BTR making over $1,000/month. A few were making $2,000/month. Similar dynamics in other markets like NOLA and B'ham. One location in BTR did $6,000 in one month. Early adopters were simply killing it. Miners that cost $500 from the manufacturer were going for $4,000 on eBay. I bought mine from the manufacturer for $500 each and waited 9 months for them to arrive. No brainer - right? The price of Helium that had for months moved similarly to BTC has recently detached from that and has tanked. Meanwhile...
I'll let these guys explain in a way that far exceeds my capabilities.

Yeah helium is dead at this point. Pretty sure the company behind it has already pivoted to their next scam
