Carpet cleaning might be a good gig. The guy who does mine works alone. He says he can't get anyone reliable to help. His cell was ringing off the hook while doing my crib. He won't move furniture, but folks try to get him roped in to moving a bunch of furniture around.
You secure a regular clientele and you're in like flint.

Make friends with landlords and realtors (buyers and sellers are always trying to get carpet cleaned).

My recommendation is not to do any side job unless it's one of 3 things:
1. Temporary for a temp money need
2. Hobby you also enjoy (buying cars)
3. Plan to make it a full time job
If you truly want to hustle, you are going to either get burned out or get tired of it quickly as a side job. I've had 2 jobs or forms of income almost my whole life. And the 2nd income can really become a drag at times. If you enjoy your day job but just need more income, I'd look into increasing your income there first. Or look into making something in which you want to leave your day job soon.
What I mean is you'll hit some walls. When you do, you want an out or a light at the tunnel. You want that light to be worth getting to. If you have 10 jump houses and hate it, was it really worth the time and money? You want that answer to be a firm yes.

Garbage Can Cleaning Business.
Urdu of mine is retired and does this. He loves it, he does certain routes on days of their trash being emptied. No idea how much he makes but seems busy and only works 2-3 days a week. So when I say busy, he gets all the business he wants

Get yourself a mini storage unit
Buy clothing and /or other items at discount snd market them for sale through social media
One of my kids friends does this and does very well
He buys close out items online or at stores/shops and sells for higher price at opportune times. Essentially he follows the rule to buy straw hats in winter and sells them in the spring .

I've always wondered if starting up a small mom and pop crawfish boiling/catering company in a nearby city outside of Louisiana would work. I'm talking about small, family functions where you hire a college kid to do a whole Cajun type presentation throughout the process. Basically no overhead besides your regular boiling equipment and you'd target Louisianians who want to show friends and family what it's all about without having to hire a caterer for 100s of pounds. The main dilemma would be transportation cost and being seasonal but maybe this can be worked out with a smaller distributor. Thoughts?

Oil/Gas rental equipment is big money if you can find a good salesperson with contacts and pay them to keep the stuff out.
There's a lot of equipment companies rent instead of buying and pay a daily fee for.

A good side hustle may be writing bot scripts for spammers. You would think it’s worth it by how many are showing up on TD recently.
