I shorted the harry potter opening weekend revenue at $147,500,000. Anything below that I cash in. Only two other movies have ever beaten that number. Keep your fingers crossed.

So I'm at this training session w/ a bunch of BB kids today and I've never meet a group of kids so eager to say where they went to school when asking any question. /rant

For a lot of those people, where they went to school is their identity. You'll likely be able to outwork/outnetwork them due to their being disadvantaged by a false sense of entitlement.

But then of course, if I went to Yale, I probably wouldn't mind the topic of 'where did you go to school?' coming up either.

it's the kids who say "Luke Fuller here, Harvard grad, and I have a comment" everytime they ask a question or comment.

We had the "Bob, George Washington, Summa Cum Laude" kid that popped up in the "say hi and state your name" activity. I badly wish people could use emoticons in real life at that moment, because there would have been 100 's in the room.

Mentioning your distinction without being prompted is really taking it to a new low.

I'm just going to go out in say it, about 95% of bankers/analyst here are completely self absorbed douches.

There are definitely a lot of "I'm awesome" types, but there were also a lot of, "I took this job so I could make bank and still party" types. Its a good mix.

ETA: referring to my analyst class.

Indeed, Indeed. That's just one of the reasons there is such a disconnect between Wall and Main Street.

Bankers may be the most egotistical bunch on the planet. I remember wanting to jump through the phone and strangle the guy conducting Stephens' phone screens last fall. Luckily, my senior analyst may be the most laid back guy on the planet (which wouldn't surprise me if such were the norm for tech analysts).

Should have told me this before I moved to Houston. Is it everybody or just the BB fools? I'm not under the impression this place hires a lot of fresh grads though, and literally almost every single person is from UT.

Just phone screen. Did decent on it but could have done better.

Met w them re Public Finance, too. Turns out if you're dad isn't an ex-governor or something there isn't much use for you in that division.

Oddly the only Stephens position I never pursued was ER.

You make it to Super Saturday?
