I have 70 acres of planted pine and 60 acres of natural hardwoods that follow the drains through the property and along the creek

I feel like this has to be a troll. I also think you are living way above your means. With the combined income that you have, how do you have car notes and a mortgage? You should be debt free at that pay range unless you don't make good financial decisions (e.g. a $40k vehicle, etc.)

that's the beauty of making that kind of scratch. he's living within his means, saving for retirement, and enjoying his money. not everybody is on the "save every penny" path. the more money you make, the more flexible you can be.

Exactly. He said mid 30s making $250k. At $5000/ month in cars and house that's only $60k. High sure but it seems like his retirement savings is doing well so not sure why people are hung up on his spending.

No troll, just how it is. The wife and I make good money, we dont travel a lot, we dont spend every dime we make. We save and save ... so it is so.etume uncomfortable to spend on something like this. It is an investment and we are stoked. Thanks all for the input. Pro or con, I always like to see the options/opinions.
