If I worked in tax and had a non-compete yes. But I do financial reporting & budgeting in my current job and worked in external audit prior.

I just want to be able to do family & friends' returns and maybe a handful of others on the side. Right now I'm so busy during tax season, I don't know how realistic it would be to pick up some tax work.
