Those Fidelity articles are pretty Pollyannaish (sp?). There are 2 reasons I finally pulled the plug on my remaining stock holdings. The first was the idea that people are counting on Congress to fix things. The second is the drumbeat from nearly all financial types to not panic; don't sell stock and don't pull money from banks.
Back to the original topic - I'll go with Dow bottoms at 8.900 in March, no "crash" per se but must of the ugliness is over by December. After March 2009 a 30% rise in the market over the next year. A completely baseless guess.
