Well I have to eat crow. I advised everyone to hold, and it has only decreased!!

Apologies - hope we can regain some money

I have no choice but to hold, I am not too deep in this thing, but plan on riding it back up at some point.

My average share price is $40. I’ll be holding for a hot minute

This is the worst month for momentum stocks EVER. Dot com, 2008, Covid, 2022...nothing competes.

And we're still above the 200 day moving average.
It's gonna be ok.
There's a reason to buy companies that are growing at 40% and have just begun truly scaling. 400mm cash against a 2.1bn market cap. Zero debt. Amazing product with growing adoption in several key verticals.

This is an absolute beauty of a name.

I really thought we would have gotten a better bounce off if yesterday’s news ?

In a hot market, sure. But it wasn't directly related to OUST.
CCXI got a really nice bounce on the news, and the whole move faded.

That's some pretty nice news.
OUST is a buy.

I'm a bit craxy I guess. I bought it at an average price of 60.33 BUT I sold options at 60 at the same time and 55 puts, so to get back to even I would need to be around 41 presently to break even and I am continuing to sell optoins so bring that down slowly, hopefully soon into the 30's.

Its everything else in the red that's hurting.

Hey BB88 - what do you think of MVIS as a speculative play in parallel with OUST?

They have a 15:1 reverse split coming up, and an earnings report. I'm watching to see if there is some value there after the split, leading into earnings.

Driver of late OUST share price move today is AMBA being involved in M&A rumors, with it up nearly 20%.

My two cents:
The best possible outcome for OUST is to be outright acquired through M&A by Amazon, but let me be clear - we’d have to see filings regarding an increased stake in OUST taken by Amazon to be hoping for that outcome yet. Something to watch.

I really don't have much to say about MVIS other than that I've pretty much stayed away. My reasoning is on page 1 of this thread near the bottom.

I'm not terribly enticed by the gamble, but maybe if I knew as much as ATL knew, I'd want to buy down here.

It's exactly the kind of company that gets acquired before it can truly disrupt.

sub 5bn dollar company growing at ~40% with a clear path to dominate smart city infrastructure.
