Maybe I'm dumb, but I feel like owning a one (or more) may be beneficial going into the mint. I imagine volume on the secondary post mint will be pretty substantial and if you are a holder of a Meerkat, you get a portion of those fees.

Every single secondary market sale has a 15% fee. 85% of that goes to the NFT holder on that given day. 15% of that goes to the original person who minted the NFT.
Example - if MMCC does $500,000 of volume per day (number increases as SOL goes up and MMCC floor rises), thats about $7-$8 per day per Meerkat. Can start to add up if the project moons

I'm looking through the royalty wallet and it looks like there's 277 sol in there. That shakes out to .06 sol per meerkat for the current circulating supply, assuming all that sol is from royalties. That's about $10
