so to expand on my experience with ada nfts just so everyone can game plan
wallet to use? i am not sure, i used yoroi and the wallet network was down during the mint so it took several minutes to approve transactions. with a healthy wallet i could have minted 10+ monkeys, i only got 1.
marketplace? cnft is awful. it took several hours to load. filtering is not functional and since ADA doesnt have smart contracts, all transactions are escrowed - meaning once you buy an NFT, the seller has 24 hours to send the NFT over to your wallet. its not an instant transaction, so this gives the seller an advantage to wait to see how the market reacts to any purchases before sending the NFT over to you. they have a long way to go to catch up to ETH or even SOL marketplaces
the future of ADA nfts? i think strong. getting in on the ground floor of now should be valuable while all these issues are happening. only autistic early adopters are going to put in the effort to mint considering all the above
