Yeah, I am really pissed off at coinbase right now. Been waiting a week already for my other purchases and will transferring out asap. Of course it's up 50 a coin from where I purchased so if this doesn't go through I'm out a nice chunk of money right now.

Absolutely! It may take a week or two but this stuff is volatile as it gets. I love the dips, more buying opportunities.

somebody has been trying to move about 160 ETH for about 30 minutes and has to keep dropping the price lower and lower

oh shite a huge sell order of 162 ETH just hit for 163 (polo prices) and the price just fell to 161.9

Yeah plus buying volume is low because of Holiday weekend. If it stays above $150 going into next week I'll feel confident.

I hear you, I'm holding several shares of amazon and google and trying to figure out when to dump. Once they touch 1k next week I just don't see how they can keep running. The economy is fair, but certainly not worthy of this 10 year bull market we have enjoyed.

i actually agree
i'm at teh point where i want to start investing and building a stockpile for (hopefully early) retirement
but
i just feel like i'll be entering the market at it's high point. i am holding off for a crash to get involved. i may just take the excess $ i have and pay off all my student loans, eat the potential advantage i could have investing that money, and being debt free when i start to invest for retirement so there is no cut that i lose due to my SL interest rates

When selling with coinbase, if you sold Ether and have USD sitting there and buy more Ether. Can you then sell immediately since the funds are cleared?

I know they say it's impossible to time the market, but most of this recent bull run was based on corporate tax reform. Now that is looking very unlikely in next year and by 2018 republicans may lose the house and then it won't take place under Trump. Even if they did pass the tax reform I feel like so much is already baked in, that the most we could run is another 8-10 percent max. Then after that I expect a significant correction. I have quite a bit in IRAs, 401ks, and brokerage accounts and I'm thinking of dumping it all by end of summer and going to cash. Then I'll buy the correction and ride it back up. I know they say you can't predict market futures but I am convinced this one is overinflated and would rather hedge my bets than make another 4-5 percent followed by massive drop.
