I see that now, if it stays under a dollar until the morning I’m going to buy another 1,000

It’s a good article / post and makes sense to me.

Actually the second post on thresh hold signatures is a game changer.

it's a way to bundle transactions off chain to save cost, as you only have to write to the eth blockchain once for potentially thousands of transactions. i didn't understand how it works exactly because it's to complicated and abstract for me to understand, but if it works as described this is a huge improvement. i think I now understand why Vitalik doesn't like chainlink. it reduces the demand for eth (GAS) thousand fold and eth will possibly plummet in the long run. If this works as described there is nothing left in the way for relative cheap smartcontracts and could lead to mass adoption. also 1000$ EOY

Serious question here but based on what?
It seems like Link is doing like every other Crypto and following Bitcoin swings. Link's line charts coincides with Bitcoin's rise and falls for the most part so why is it heading in the right direction when it can't even stand on it's own and is subject to Bitcoin's volatility?
I am genuinely curious and not trolling.

Price dump happened because that’s what always happens in crypto. Link was drawing all the money because of hype from mainnet. All the traders took profit right before like they should have and got the hell out to move on to the next one. On top of that, btc caused extra dumpage. Pretty standard crypto activity. And whichever coin has pumped the most recently will usually be affected more by btc causing dumps.

That didn't answer my question at all.

This is what I was answering. I have only ever owned link for about 8 hours. Do not own it now.

Its an immature market which is why it is tied to btc. Link was the best performed throughout the entire bear market with the exception of BNB so it did decouple in a way. Link dumped and was bought back immediately meaning people are throwing millions of dollars into this. When the heavy hitters stopped buying it then bled out again. Link is doing huge things and I’m still bullish that this will be a big player moving forward. Read the blog posts and toss the price analysis out of the window. This is an investment not throwing a couple hundred dollars at some coin get your 20% gain and move on to the next one.

This market does not behave like a normal stock market
If Apple announces that they will release earnings on July 1, the price will fluctuate based on uncertainty about those numbers.. If the numbers are good, the price will rise..
If Chainlink announces that they will release a blog post "next week", the price will rise based on hype, rumors, etc. of what might be in that post.. Then when the post actually comes out -- EVEN IF it's nothing but good news and evidence of strong growth -- the price will drop because the traders aren't interested in growth, longevity, etc.. They're here to make money, 10% at a time

That’s why price movement isn’t the only indicator. Watch the top 50 wallets that have done nothing but accumulate and even at its ath still did not sell a single link. These are the big players that have the knowledge to know that this is going somewhere

How long will it take for the cream to rise to the top with all these companies competing? 1, 2, 5, 10 years?

This will turn out to be a big bull market of a year.
