You should look into Gemini instead of Coinbase

I ordered the Nano ledger for hard storage, most of my coins stay on exchanges for the time being

I was leaning towards the Nano also. Will go ahead and pull the trigger. Don't like my currency being on exchanges but also don't want to set up an online wallet. Guess a few more days should be fine.

Thanks

Wow good to know, and this is exactly why I am coming to this board to be informed. Thank you for letting me know.

So the hard wallets can't always be current to the changing crypto world. So best options are online wallets or desktop wallets at this point?

Best option is whatever you feel comfortable with. But always back up your wallets and info in as many ways as possible

I access VEN through myEtherWallet with Ledger nano - In future VEN will have its own wallet . Ada has its own wallet - download from site - may have future ledger nano support - ETN not sure - think its web wallet or an app - dont have any - Not sure how any others do it but I have a seperate laptop that I use these wallets on - no email - explorer - strickly for wallets take it offline when not using it .

Question for you guys... what online wallet and hard wallets are you using? Will be setting up the online wallet and ordering the hard wallet today.

I use a trezor the UI is much better. I just wish ERC-20 didn’t have to go through MEW for it, but I believe the ledger is the same.

None. My coins are on Binance and will stay there until VeChain releases their own wallet. No sense in handing over my personal information to multiple exchanges/wallets for no real reason.

Different wallets for different currency is getting complicated.

I guess the whole point is to figure this out and be invested before they simplify this and the masses flood in.

I like the Exodus wallet but it resides on your PC. If you’re mostly mobile, it’s not a good solution.

Beautiful, intuitive interface. But can be pricey.

Where it may cost 5¢ to move Litecoins off Coinbase to an exchange, it will be $1-$2 to do that off Exodus.

Also don’t exchange coins on it. Just store until you move some to trade on an exchange. And back again.

What was the other exchange that's currently in beta that some of us registered for early access for the other day? I'm scouring the thread now and can't find the link to it and it isn't called what I thought I remembered.

Good morning fellas!

I was a teenager with no money when I missed out on the .com boom. I told myself I would not miss out on anothr renaissance. These things come around only a few times a lifetime.

I'm jumping in the game now. I will buy some VeChain, Electroneum and Cardano to start. Looking to hold on to these long term.

I will follow this board with you guys and hope to share success with you.

Lets Do This!

If you want to also get into a good low marketcap crypto checkout Encrypgen's DNA token. If it indeed becomes the dominant "protocol" of the coming genetics internet then the upside potential is insane.
