Mine showed up on Binance after 5 hours.
I went to do a trade, 'Success', popped up, but there's no record of it anywhere. Do I just need to wait, or chance it didn't go through?

sometimes the trade doesn't go through - look on your record history tab or whatever, if you don't see it, try buying again

I missed the (current) bottom of FUN by 10 sats. Back up 100 sats from that floor.

BTC transfers take forever. dont yall understand that it is quicker to transfer with ETH or LTC.

Where does a newbie jump in here? I am looking at using $2000 to get in on the crypto side of things.
I need some advice/something to read. What would you tell your friend on what to jump on or which trade sites are to be trusted?

Okay, I accidently traded too much of one coin (XVG, Verge). I can't seem to sell it back to btc now, any ideas?

Start with Coinbase where you can use money from a bank account or credit card. This is where nearly everyone starts because you can use USD.
Coinbase
Then transfer BTC, ETH, or LTC to Binance to exchange for altcoins. Recommend sending ETH.
Binance

A friend was telling me to look at ripple. Is that old news? First comment I saw was “Thank God I sold ripple”.
Ripple isn’t sold on coinbase. That has been the only “tip” I have ever gotten but that was around Christmas.

I bought too much. I thought i was doing a transaction for a different coin, but the app kept going back to the Verge market when I pushed Buy. There's no sell button even under the sale tab. This is Binance app.
I'm just trying to diversify. Lol.

But you are correct. It's the only exchange I am on currently, I'll leave it to others here to recommend other exchanges.
