I just sunk quite a large chunk in ETH after doing tons of research.

Just can't seem to talk myself into anything else. I'm partially jaded because my average ETH buy-in is $94 a share and the only other thing I bought was Golem which I've lost a few hundred bucks on.

If you want to make it to Lamboland you should have 1/4 of your stack in IOTA.

Alt coins are a losing battle.

Hell ETH might be a losing battle as well but it has at least had sustainable market volume for a while.

Eth just seems stagnant. It finally rose back up to about 300 after being in the low 200s for a while and I feel pretty good about shifting those profits around to NEO after buying into Eth around $80. We had a good run, baby. But I had to trade you in for a newer model. But don't sink on me because I'm still using you as a constant to maintain my original buy ins.

Took all my ETH and put it in UBQ NEO STRAT and PTOY. If I pretended all my potential ETH that I would have right now that I got rid of was bought in at 185 which was the earliest I bought in at, I'd be at -1482 in terms of potential earnings but still up 3k overall. If NEO can jump back to 58 I'll be ahead of my potential ETH earnings.

Feel very good about my decision. Might buy ETH here and there but I'm all in on NEO. They're backed by Microsoft and WINGS. They'll probably partner with Alibaba soon and then it's really on.

Do I expect a dip potentially back to 25-30? Yep. Will I hodl and buy more? Yep. I do think it rockets up to 70 before it comes back down. Exciting times.

I find it interesting that buying an alt coin with BTC creates a taxable event. I guess the rationale is that through buying the alt coin, you're selling / exchanging your btc. It's that extra third dimension that makes this shite so confusing. You have to stare at their spreadsheets for a while for it to make sense.

I just dumped all my PAY and ARK for OMG. Once that bih hits $10, all bets are off. I'm all in on NEO and OMG right now, with 950 units of FUN in the event that it ever hits a dollar or something.

cant wait for IOTA and DNT to hit the exchanges so i can load up on those.

see yall on the moon

Wait how do you get IOTA?

Edit: and let's say you have $5k to spend USD today.

What are you buying with it? (Question is for all not just Carson)

BTC and ETH for a nice floor with steady growth
NEO and OMG for potential moonshots in the coming months with good swing trading opportunities
IOTA, DNT, BAT for long term holds

US citizens can still buy IOTA from Bitfinex and transfer to wallet for the next 90ish days.

IOTA devs have said that it will be listed on US exchanges before Bitfinex shuts the doors to US customers but no hard date yet and no telling what price could be at that point.

I have IOTA sitting at Bitfinex now. Not sure how to retrieve it. Will try to move it to Light Wallet.

Bitfinex would not let me move USD from my account a couple days ago without further verification. But they have discontinued US verifications.

According to an article I read (Forbes I think), only 800 people reported CC transactions last year (not sure how they would know that).
